Next steps
The planning application for the Proposed Development was granted consent by the FCC planning committee in November 2025.

What happens next
LBCCS will work to discharge conditions required under the planning consent and will carry out the next stage of construction with our appointed principal contractor, Boskalis. Phase Two is expected to start in August 2026.
We will stay in contact with local communities and stakeholders about the upcoming construction works, including the Community Council and local businesses.
