Main Onshore Pipeline: That’s a wrap for 2025

Construction activity for the Main Onshore Pipeline has paused for the festive period
The last working day on-site for the construction of the Main Onshore Pipeline finished on Monday, 22 December 2025, with work set to resume week commencing Monday, 5 January 2026.

Site security

Although construction activity has paused for the Christmas and New Year period, all sites will have protective measures in place to ensure they remain fully secure.

These measures include:
  • Site fencing
  • Security lighting (pointed towards the construction compounds and away from nearby homes and habitats)
  • Security personnel
  • CCTV monitored by emergency services

Contact arrangements during the festive period

While our construction contractors take a planned break, the Liverpool Bay CCS Limited (LBCCS) project team will remain on hand to deal with urgent and non-urgent queries related to the project during this period.

For urgent queries and in case of an emergency, please contact us on 01745 881 200.

For non-urgent queries, please email our team at hello@hynethub.co.uk. Please note this inbox will not be monitored between 23 and 26 December 2025 and on 1 January 2026 and therefore may take longer than usual to respond to.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As the year comes to a close, we would like to express our gratitude to all communities and stakeholders for their patience and engagement throughout 2025. We wish you a joyful and restful festive season.
