Microtunnelling works beneath Chester Road, due to be carried out by our Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor, United Infrastructure, have been postponed until further notice.
These works were scheduled to begin in late April but have been postponed to allow Welsh Water to undertake essential works in the area.
An update will be shared on the HyNet Hub Live News section once a new date for these works has been confirmed.
If you have any questions about these works or would like more information, please contact the team by emailing hello@hynethub.co.uk or calling 0113 395 4495 (Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm, except bank holidays).
Microtunnelling is a trenchless tunnelling technique that will bury the Pipeline deep beneath the ground, ensuring minimal disruption to key infrastructure, transport routes and environmentally sensitive areas.
